Annual ReportsThe City of San Carlos is the housing successor agency to the former San Carlos Redevelopment Agency. The majority of our housing assets were transferred from the former Agency when it dissolved pursuant to the Dissolution Act in 2012 (enacted by Assembly Bills x1 26 and subsequent legislation). With dissolution, the former Agency's affordable housing rights, powers, assets, liabilities, duties, and obligations, excluding any amounts in the Agency's Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund, were transferred to us. This document reports on housing successor finances and activities as required by law.

The Housing Element establishes policies and programs to address these needs while maintaining and enhancing the existing character of the community.
