Peninsula Volunteers (PVI) Meals on Wheels Program

The Meals on Wheels program provides nutritious meals to homebound, isolated adults who are unable to shop and cook for themselves. Meal delivery services include weekday meals, and some on weekends and holidays depending on eligibility. In addition to meals, visits from Peninsula Volunteers provide a valuable opportunity to connect with these individuals and provide safety checks. PVI serves more than 100,000 meals every year and volunteers deliver meals and conduct safety checks to 1,100 seniors and adults with disabilities in San Mateo County.
