Building Division field inspections will be on hold until further notice. We will accommodate as many inspections as possible “virtually” by FaceTime, pictures, video, or other means. Contact the Building
Division, at building@cityofsancarlos.org, to inquire how we can perform your inspection “virtually”
during the closure period. Please include the job site address, permit number and a contact name and phone number in your email. Thank you.

 

Please note: This inspection request form is for Building permit inspection requests only (BLD and MEP). For Public Works inspections, please see the Public Works Inspection Request Form.  

 
How to Schedule a Building Inspection

Scheduling an inspection is quick and easy. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Determine the day and time window (a.m. or p.m.)  that you’d like us to perform the inspection.

  2. Would you like us to call you a half-hour prior to our arrival?

  3. Fill out the inspection request form below and we will be in touch with you by email to confirm your inspection date and time.

  4. Inspection requests that are sent to us over the weekend cannot be placed on Monday's inspection calendar.  Please allow a minimum 48-hour working day lead time for inspection requests.
