New San Carlos Library Makerspace - Share Your Input!

New San Carlos Library Makerspace Coming Soon

A makerspace is coming to the San Carlos Library! The brand-new 1000-square-foot space will be on the library’s second floor and feature exciting new technologies and opportunities for community members to get creative.

What is a Makerspace?

A makerspace is a creative workshop with unlimited possibilities. Designed for makers of all ages and skill levels, makerspaces give patrons the opportunity to try something new, experiment with technology and tap into their creative spirit. Makerspaces are outfitted with a variety of tech and materials, including sewing machines, 3D printers, laser cutters, podcast equipment, virtual reality headsets, art supplies, and more.

Share your Input!

This will be your space, so we want to know what you want in it! We have several opportunities for community members to share their feedback on what they want to see in the upcoming San Carlos Library makerspace. Share your input by attending a community workshop on March 14 or by taking an online survey.
